Hi and Intro

Hi,

I've been lurking on this site for a short while, but this is my first post. Besides being new to this board, I'm also new to the Conch Republic. I'm basically the proverbial, "came for a visit and never left". Before moving here I had not thought about diving, but life here revolves around the water. So in the spirit of carpe diem, I enrolled in a class at the Florida Keys Community College and obtained my OWC. So I'm also a new diver.

Thanks for the warm welcome, everyone. I'm still getting my bearings here, on both land and sea. Over time I hope to get around to exploring all of Florida; SeaYoda, thanks for the invite!

Welcome to ScubaBoard & to diving, Daphne! I'd say you've entered into one of the most accepting subcultures in the world, but being in Key West you've already done that.. hope Fantasy Fest hasn't scared you off from the Islands! Post and dive often!!
