Myself and 2 friends are coming to Vero Beach Sunday AM for a little beach diving. The wives are gonna play sun goddess. Anyone know the viz, currents, and water temp? Anyone gonna be in the area and want to join us?

From the pics I have seen you may not have beach access to dive. I know Pepper park is still closed. CAll the Lifeguard stand first.

There are several spots to dive that used to be pretty nice but I am not sure they are still intact after the Hurricanes chewed them up.

There isn't much of a beach left at Vero. Water is rough, vis is nil. Good Luck.

The water has been flat for the past week. I drove down there a couple of weeks ago, and attached is a picture of the beach area at the end of the causeway south of HWY 60... That's ScubaKat11 with me....

Now... Wabasso got beat up real bad. The board walk is gone....
