:winky: North East folks:

I am looking to put together an all GUE charter for the day after
Thanksgiving - Friday, November 26th.

The boat is The Sea Lion, under the command of Captain Al of Atlantic Wreck
Divers, out of Brielle, NJ.

The Sea Lion is a diesel powered 36ft. Maine Coaster . It is docked at the
end of Union Lane in the Union Landing Marina, Brielle New Jersey. This slip
makes loading and unloading gear almost effortless as you can back your
vehicle up to within 10 feet of the boat. The Sea Lion has a heated cabin
which allows for the year round diving that the Sea Lion is known for.

The captain is pretty much up for anything we might want to do, but possible
nearby wrecks could be the wreck of Delaware at 80'.
(http://www.aquaexplorers.com/Delaware.htm) or similar. These are going to
be recreational dives with MOD not to exceed 110'.

MHK will be in town for the Holidays and will join us on the dive.
He will be available to answer any questions pertaining to DIR/GUE.

We need about 5-6 more divers (maximum 8) so please contact me asap if you
are up for a dive. The cost is $65.

What are the requirements? Do you have to be a GUE card holder?

no, you are not required to be GUE certified, but I do want to see the proper gear and proper procedures such as gas management, SADDDD, etc... basically, there will be no solo diving, no 100lb bungeed wings, and you will be required to submit your dive plan to the boat crew (and follow it), calculate your rock bottom, etc...

does this make sense?

I'll be there. Gotta work off the turkey somehow.
