Ok guys, need to find out where I can get flood insurance here in Asia. The DAN insurance, unfortunately, is only available the US Dan members. Anyone out there knows??

As Alcina mentioned, check with your regular homeowner insurance. I found that my camera and equipment could be added for $10/yr per $1000 value (Nationwide insurance). This is worldwide and for any circumstance: lost, flooded, dropped, stolen, etc. I believe this is a standard coverage policy for almost any big name insurance company.

You will need to check...flooded is not covered by the insurance companies here.

Is not covered.

Well, definitely not covered here under home owners.. will try DEPP.

DEPP should be fine, just make sure that DEPP has a local assessor/inspector available in case you need to make a claim.

I asked DEPP about overseas insurance recently and they said that they do provide it:

"We do provide coverage worldwide. For copies of our forms, or to enroll directly from our webpage go to www.equipmentprotection.com.
