This was as of October, so hopefully it's on track.
Funny how things work out....Texas lost the bid for the Oriskany against Florida, but they're cleaning it for us. Maybe they feel this is their contribution, or perhaps their consolation price????

More like, we have one of the few U.S. yards willing or capable of cleaning up the ships properly. Expect to see a lot of these surplused ships heading down to Texas for a "pit stop".
Yes, the Oriskany was a disappoint. Oh well, we're getting one of the bigger Constellation-class carriers to adorn our coast. The wait will be interminable.
