Well while not really a tech dive, I thought I'd let the masses in on the early season at DS.
Air temp 46--windchill--36
Water temp 45@ 60ffw
Vis was an awesome 80ft
New attraction a crane to the right of the airplane
a word of warning!!!
due to drought conditions the water level is down about 10ft and Stew is only allowing entry exits via NEW ramps installed
The crowds were thin but I can see as this increases it is going to be a nightmare getting in and out
Prices this year have remained unchanged $19 per day
All in all this is a great place to give the grear a good freshwater soaking, and get your configuration and weight set and practicefor the real stuff.

Don't forget the snow...

After 2 dives yesterday, the flurries whispered in my ear "get changed and go have a chilli dog...", so I did... The vis was really nice yesterday though.

I got to check out the crane too, athough I wasn't quite able to squeeze into the drivers seat :(, I'll give it another shot next time.
(My bottom timer hit 41 degrees at one point)

Yes, I was.

I have taken my Zeagle flatheads to worse places than Dutch Springs too. :D

Environmentaly sealed regs are the way to go.
