last night i got a snack craving, i wanted calimari, the whole thing took maybe 15 minutes. I pulled 4 or 5 market squid ot of the freezer and ran them under some water for a quick defrost. I then cut off the tentacles and cut the mantle into about 3 pieces, ran 4 cloves of garlic through my garlic press and put some butter in a frying pan, so all in all 3 cloves minced garlic, 1 tbsp butter and 5 squid cut into rings, fry for 5 minutes, delicious restaurant quality snack, could make a great appetizer.

i like to add a splash of white wine as well

here they serve them in their own ink... It looks like :censored: if are not used to eating anything black, but it tastes great.
