I just moved into an apt. on the beach and I've been spending a bit of time watching the water from my porch. There are 3 buoys between 100 and 300 yards out, and I've seen boats moored at all 3 ... mostly for fishing, but I've seen divers out there a couple times. I've been unable to find anything on the exact area, though I think I'm between weatherwatch park and beach drive park according to http://diver.ocean.washington.edu ... anyone been out there? anyone know what (if anything) is there? I still rent gear so (financially) I won't be able to dive it for about a month and I'm going nuts trying to figure this out. Easiest way to find where I'm talking about is to map my address (3821 beach drive sw, seattle, wa 98116) ... the buoys are west/south-west of the shore... any help would be appreciated!

Hi Jesse, I've never been diving on that side of west seattle... Maybe you could go talk with the divers thenext time you see them?

I think that is the old sewer pipeline--- is this just north of the brownish (or at least they were last time I was there) condos that are out on the pier?

Decent dive from what I recall, the surface swim was a bit much.... but that was my buddies DSA (dumb S#*T attack) for not paying attention to his air.
