Here is the deal.

My two kids and I have been diving for roughly three years - - - Several Key's Trips, Bonaire, The Quarry (thrill), etc.

I need to work for a couple of days in Fort Lauderdale and the three of us have decided to do our AOW classes during the trip.

The location is not important - WPB - Fort Lauderdale - Key Largo - Key West.

What is important is a good instructor to handle AOW class for a 14 year old (we understand the junior limitations) a 17 year old and a geezer..........

Recommendations and or comments please....

Thanks

Thank you Colin! Appreciate the referral!

DeputyDan - I would be happy to talk to you about getting you all AOW. If you would like to PM me to give me the dates I can let you know if I am available and we can talk about the options. No obligation whatsoever!

You can go to my website to learn more about NAUI's course descriptions but they are guidelines only and I can customize to fit your needs. You will also learn a little about me (the site is still being built)

South Florida is packed full of good instructors and I know Renee is one of them. Alex Mendez is also a top notch NAUI instructor who is extremely thorough in his training. Because of that I don’t know if he could do an AOW certification in 3 day. You could check him out at www.the-scuba-shop.com. Those are my suggestions but remember to ask the key questions. Safety records and such are very important and one should always ask when choosing an instructor.

I highly recommend Chris Scheurer I did my OW with him. He is experienced, patient and very thorough. I have gone on to complete some other certs since then and while my other instructors were fine, I can't imagine anyone better suited to dive instruction than Chris.
