Palau Aggressor 2/28/05 - Anyone else?

Will do! Bringing the gf. She got certified a few months ago and her first trip is to Palau/Yap and later on we are going to the Galapagos. Tough way to get into diving. ; )

Forgot to add to be safe, too. I've been to Palau three times and on the first two trips I experienced some nasty downcurrents when the tides changed. Water spills over the reef and will take you for a ride if you're not careful. Always check your depth gauge, especially when doing your blue water safety stop. When it happened to me I was on a safety stop and the next thing I was down to 45 feet in a matter of seconds -- my ears were popping and I was turned upside down and I didn't know why. Checked my gauges and WHOA! Be especially careful at the southern end of Peleliu Island b/c it gets currents from two different sides and the currents there are ripping.
