Hi there!
I have read some of the threads posted, but I was wondering if anybody had any experiences with "coco beach resort, and/or the coco explorer cruise"? How is the weather around the phillipines in March? When is raintime?

Best regards

no experience with the coco people but march is probably the greatest time of the year to dive

water temp's perfect
viz is the best
it's whale shark season in some parts of the country
everyone is thinking "summer"
telcos and beer companies sponsor parties every weekend
it's the start of bikini open season
beach volley season's about to open
local divers have put the thermal underwear away for a few months
the skies are crystal
the heat amazing
school's out in a couple of weeks
halo-halo is a practical mid-day snack or desert
beer's never been colder

have i missed anything?

when does it rain? may the soonest... june usually...

Have stayed in the vCoco Beach resort, Puerto Galera. One hairy boat trip from Batangas!

But the resort was very up-market, and the dive centre there - I think German VDSL trained (CMAS) knew their stuff.

Lovely resort, giant clam shells for sink basins in the bathroom!

You'll enjoy it!
