Are you captivated by capers? Ga-ga for garlic? Mad about saffron? What spices or seasonings can you not live without?

In no particular order, here is my list:

Black Peppercorns
Dill leaf
Garlic
Cloves
Chili Powder
Cumin

Garlic and cumin, hands down. :)

Garlic is great, & have a spiffy ancient rosemary bush in the back yard, along with tons of mint & Chinese garlic chives that the dogs love but it gives 'em horrible farts.
The basil is pretty well toast for the season. Cilantro is usually popping up around the edges too.
My GF can't stand anything "spicy" though, so I usually wind up having to make 2 batches of "whatever".

Saffron
Garlic
Chipotle Peppers in Adobo sauce (my lastest find and new addiction)

Becky

Lime
Zatar
Garlic
Citrus
Rosemary

and like ever baltimoron:

OLD BAY!!!

put it on eggs, potatoes, crabs, in chilli, bread, bloody marys, and popcorn.

In no particular order, but what I use the most.

Fresh herbs: Cilantro, Basil, Rosemary, Thyme and Mint are my favorites.
Lime
Garlic
Shallots
Ginger

Kosher Salt
Freshly ground black pepper
Cumin
Dried Lavender (hard as heck to find!)

Lawry's Seasoning Salt
Mrs. Dash

The possibilities are endless. Cilantro and Lime is my favorite during the summer... you can make cilantro lime anything!

Garlic
Basil
Dill
Coriander
Cumin
black pepper
oregano
thyme
rosemary
saffran
These are just the basic. And most of them I grow on my balcony.
Mania
