Northeastern University is offering a free lecture on the Great White Shark which appeared off cape cod this summer. It's at the NU Marine Lab in Nahant. Also there are two popular (if you can get Nahant Parking, yeah good luck) dive sites in the area as well: 40 Steps and the Chimmneys.

free and open to the public!

Greg Skomal will talk about his role as a shark researcher for the MA Division of Marine Fisheries. Greg was in the spotlight this summer when a Great White Shark spent an extended amount of time in a Cape Cod salt pond. Come hear a first hand account of Greg’s experience and see amazing footage while visiting the Marine Science Center.

This lecture is free to the public.
Light refreshments served at 6:30PM.
The lecture begins at 7:00 and is roughly an hour long.
