Extra D-rings?

Anyone know why Jarrod would need two d-rings on his left shoulder?

I know cavers who have seen WKPP divers adding an extra d-ring on their left hip to accomodate multiple stages easier, but I haven't heard of a reason to add an extra shoulder ring. Any ideas?

George actually busted him on this a couple of years back on Quest IIRC. I believe he used to wear two D-rings years ago. I don't know why he would have both, but there could have been a valid reason. Just remember, this probably isn't the harness he wore for most of the dive. It's probably one of the deco harnesses. You would have to ask one of the WKPP divers if they are different.

Munin:

A weighted BP without backmount tanks used for the upper portion of the deco. Deco bottles are the only tanks used. If you look at the picture again you can see there's no tanks.
