i just bought a niffty sunnto stinger.it has a nice s/s wrist strap.it also came with these grey rubber wrist straps.should i use these whilst diving?i planned on just using the regular metal wrist strap while diving, keeping my wetsuit lip over top of it a bit so i can peek at it when i need to.what do you think?thanx.

Only problem with regular wrist straps is that if one pin disconnects, the watch is gone. I prefer Waterbourne brand nylon straps that use one layer to capture the pins, and a separate layer for the strap itself. Trident makes a clone that is not as comfortable IMHO. Some divers prefer to route a couple of lengths of bungie cord through the pins, rather than using a strap at all.
