Hey guys, ok... question:

My max in Static Apnea is 4:20 - not great deal. I think my warm up is quite good, but my concentration level is bad.

my mind works well from 0 to 2:30 from 2:30 to 3:15 is simply not working...

I just think... "I will not make it..."

Funny wise if I get over 3:15 I can go easily to 4:15...

also, I wonder if you find static to be better in the morning or the afternoon?

cheers

One trick to try is occupying your mind while your at it. If you've got no problems the first two minutes try to focus on relaxing each bodypart one by one. I normally start with my feet and work up. Then you could switch over to something that requires you to focus, for instance you could reconstruct your day. Think about every little thing you do from the time you get up until the time your starting your static (if you're doing them in the morning you could reconstruct the prior day). That might help you get past your sticking point. I don't tend to look at the watch until 30 seconds or so before the end of the hold...
