If they're just average fins, that's okay for now - I'm just starting out. They just look so cheap which is why I was wondering. I have a pair of Cressi-sub Rondine X full foots that I bought 10 years ago and comparing those to the Aqualungs...well, there just doesn't seem to be any comparison. My Cressi's are all slimey though for some reason that I can't figure out, so.......... {shrug}
 
I own a pair of caravelle. I bought them to travel, have done about 25 dives with them, some snorkel and apnea.
The foot pocket is very comfortable for me,
they are very light and pack easily.
I now use them weekly in the pool for a mile each time, and would use them localy if the water allowed me not to wear boots.
