Myself and two buddies were lucky enough to find decent water at Niles beach today. After surveying Stage Fort park we decided Niles was going to have to do. For any one with the book "A Shore Diving Guide To New England" it says as far as alternate sites "This is the alternate site. If you can't dive here, call it a day and head home." Well the conditions weren't terrible. We had 15' depending our location and the temp at a whopping 20' was 42deg. Not much to see at Niles, but did find some nice old bottles, and got to watch my buddy freeze his rear off because he forgot to zip his suit up. Got to try my new eclipse bp/w setup so it was well worth it. I just hope this weather clears up and normal waters return by mid week.

I've had some decent bug dives there when all other places where non-diveable. Won't say anymore than that
