Just come back from a weekend in Port Stephens in New South Wales, did a bit of dolphin watching, but no diving.

At soldiers point, there was an large local authority sign saying what you can and cannot land in terms of fish/shellfish take.

One item tickled me,

If you land any of the following species, RETURN THEM CAREFULLY To THE WATER

a long list of smaller fish types, shell fish etc, and at the very bottom

GREAT WHITE SHARK :11: :eyebrow:

They jest, no courtesy there, straight over the side ;)

Love it

Cheers

Haven't you seen the movies? Don't you know that Great Whites and Orcas have memories longer than an Elephants. Don't you know that they will hunt you (and your family) down for the rest of your lives if you tick them off? Best to return them very carefully to the water, with deep and sincere apologies.

ah yes, remember the film from the 70/80's, the orca that demolished a house, a boat and half of canada/new england in its hunt to track down the killer of its mate ;) , they really knew how to make films then :D
