I need to get to Guanaja from San Pedro Sula

My husband and I are meeting up with our dive buddies in Guanaja, but our problem is that our flight arrives in San Pedro Sula at 6:30pm Saturday. Sosa is the airline we are going to use to fly to Guanaja, but their last flight is at 4:30pm and the earliest one on Sunday is 1:30pm and that puts us in Guanaja at 4:30pm Sunday so we will loose a day of diving unless we can find another way of transportation. If you have any suggestions please advise.

Does anyone know if there is a ferry that goes from La Ceiba to Guanaja?

The last time I was in Guanaja was in 1975. We flew in on a DC-3 on a gravel strip. I swear a guy with a machete was clearing the end of the runway ahead of us. There was only a stilt village there and no "anglos" lived on the island. It was wonderful. I bet it has changed so much it would make ya cry.
