I'm looking for a good book for fish identification. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
P.S. Mexico/Caribean diving areas. Just returned from Cozumel.

Yeah, I'd aggree, Paul's is the best for the Carribean. There is one for fish and one for inverts I think.

Our instructor gave my kids a copy of Humann's Reef Fish Identification just before our trip to Cozumel. We reviewed it beforehand and took it with us. I think our list of fish we could repeatedly ID (in the water, in video's, and in our pictures) was about 52 after one trip.

There is also one for corals/sponges.

It's actually a trilogy of books that includes:

- Reef Fish
- Reef Creatures
- Reef Coral and Sponges

I bought both the Reef Creature and Reef Fish (Florida, Caribbean, Bahamas) - great reading on flights to the caribbean. I thought there were other editions for asia or pacific or something but I can't find it.

The Humann/Deloach books are very well organized and easy to find the fish/creature based on shape.
