Here's a chance to earn some good karma.

My buddy lost an x-large jetfin with spring strap in the surf at Redondo at 9 am Saturday morning, 6/4. It was his first time wearing this set into the water, so he's a bit upset. Please let me know if anyone finds it.

Thanks,
Ray

OK, let me preface this by saying I'm not bagging on anyones gear choice. Just making an observation.

How come, if jet fins with spring straps are so great, this seems to be the combination I see the most 'lost, please help' posts about?

Because jet fin wearers routinely dive in stuff where others fear to tread. :p

Part of it may be because jets are negatively buoyant, and so when lost in the surf they sink instead of float.

My buddy lost his from his hands, not his feet.

i'm there on Wednesday night. I'll see if i can find it . I found a blue cress-sub last
Wednesday at 70 feet. may be I'll get lucky two weeks in a row.
