Thumbs down NSW Australian Government proposes a TAX on Diving PLEASE HELP

    Gday All
The New South Wales, Australian Government is proposing a TAX/Diving licence fee on Divers.

Instead of preserving the Grey Nurse Shark in their natural habitat, and saving them from Fisherman and Shark nets, this tax is to be used for an outrageous scheme to attempt to breed Grey Nurse Sharks by cutting out the embryos from live females and trying to breed them in an artificial womb in a vain attempt to save them from extinction. This is untested and unproven science.

I urge all our foreign and local mates to give us a hand in helping defeat this tax on our beloved sport.

You can find the Scuba Diving Fee discussion paper here this outlines the basis of the tax http://www.dpi.nsw.gov.au/aboutus/re...uba_diving_fee

And you can voice your opinion on this outrageous tax here

For more information on the Tax please have a read of this thread on DiveOz.

    Thumbs down

Thanks to all that have sent in a submission

Please help crush this tax on divers

Every vote counts does not matter where you are from around the world. If you don’t submit your disapproval you will have to purchase a licence to Dive in New South Wales.

    Cheers
