Hey,

I'm moving over to Australia from the UK for a while to have a change of scene. First port of call is Perth to see some mates for a couple of months then through to Sydney probably. I'm planning on just general recreational diving to about 30m max. Just wondering what the temperatures are like and sort of exposure suit is recomended around Perth in Nov / Dec.

Cheers,

Craig

G'day Craig. Try http://www.oceanoutlook.com.au/westcoast/forecast_pages/perth_forecast.htm for Perth ocean info. They have links for other parts of W.A. and Oz.

Diving of the coast of Perth, Rottenest, Klum Point the HMS wreck and others we used two 3mills and were still cold. If there was a dry suit ready I have gone for that option. Also make sure to get a copy of the C.A.L.M. shore diving guide. It has some really great dives and directions for location as well as suggested under water routes.
