San Sal was a wonderful quiet island when I dove there in the late 80's. Riding Rock Inn was the only operation relating to hotel and diving business, and it was also a sport fishing "meca". Can't imaging it is anything like that anymore....
 
It actually does still have that small island feel! Other then club med I don't think there has been any other substantial development on the island - til now.
 
LOL - at 60 square miles, and a large inland lake on it, there isn't room for anything else.....

Just got back from a week at Club Med Columbus Isle, 2nd visit in 5 years, and its still the nice sleepy island its been. The corals look a little worse than last time, but plenty of reef sharks.
