1. Should I convert any American dollars to Bahamas money, or does everybody accept the US dollar in/around Nassau?

2. Are there pharmacy chains like CVS or Walgreens where I can stock up on liveaboard items like Dramamine, aspirin, toothpaste etc?

T-9 days till Nassau
T-12 till Blackbeards...

Thanks,
Steve

1 - No, USD is fine.
2 - Bring your meds, toiletries with you. My best example is I bought a bottle of shampoo in Nassau a couple of years ago for $5. When I got back to the US, i found the same thing for just over a dollar. Why wouldn't you just bring your own aspirin, Dramamine, etc., with you ?

USD is accepted in Bahamas. I would bring what I needed. Everything is more expensive on the islands.
