    Multi certifications

:07: OK, one has a PADI OW cetification. Any reason you couldn't take a SSI certification for AOW? Then take NAUI certification for rescue diver? I find each certification indenty has some things I like better than others. Comments

Nope. Take any certification you want. You'll find that its the individual instructor teaching the course, rather than the certifying agency, that makes a course valuable. I do encourage you to interview several instructors, however, and compare and contrast instructors (as opposed to agencies) before laying down your money.

I agree Doc, it's the instructor that is more important than the agency.
