Ralph Erickson passed away on May 25th. What an insurmountable loss to the scuba industry. I last talked to him at DEMA in Houston. John Cronin went first, then Ralph Erickson. It looks like the only one of the founding fathers left is Gerri Howland.

Long live your legacy old men! We appreciate and honor your accomplishments.

Hoo Ah!

It is a fact of life that we must die, albeit a sad one.

I know now that I will definitely frame my original C-card, which is dated 10/16/1969 and signed by both Ralph and John. No numbers and no dive classification other than to say I am a certified diver.

These two gentlemen will surely leave behind a legacy of the scuba diving industry.
