What do different agencies say about guidelines for selecting the amount of weight to use with a drysuit?

never heard of any guidelines, but I would say to try it out. It depends on what type of undersuit you wear, how big your gas bubble is when comfortable.... difficult to say.

When I dove wet I used 18 lbs of lead for cold water, diving dry I use no lead although if you count the fact I'm using a BP/W and it's plate I'm using 13 lbs now.

That's for a Viking drysuit.

In general it varies according to undergarment and drysuit construction.

To many variables to answer properly depends on suit type underwear type , with drysuit and shorts and t-shirt 18lbs underwear 22lbs 7mm wetsuit 16 lbs thats with a bare tech dry ( compressd neoprene) with my twins and steel tanks O lbs. basicly you need to dive it to trim it out,

This is even more volaatile than a wetsuit rule. Take a guess and start playing in confined water.
