OK, a little humility on my part, admitting to dentures, but I would like some information from 'others' who have been there.

Last weekend diving really irritated my upper lip because of the mask resting at the top of my denture. My regulator mouthpiece prevented the mask from coming lower which is what it felt like it really needed to do. I don't know why it has not been troublesome before but it was very irritant last weekend. I know I haven't described it very well, but you probably have to have experienced it to know what I am talking about (and probably most of you don't want to hear anymore anyway!) It seems the 'fit' has pinched the inner part of my upper lip and is still very sore.

Anybody know a friend who has been there and done that and found a solution? I have thought about modifying/trimming my mouthpiece.

Thanks.....
