Have you lied about how much air left in your tank after a dive?
lets say you have after a dive 500 psi (AFTER A DIVE ON SURFACE), and some diver asks you hey how much air do you have left....have you said 1000psi.....
This is strange but I have seen it....have you?:huh:

Why lie? The only one you're lying to is yourself in the end, nobody else really cares whether you're standing there with 500psi, 1000psi or 2500psi after the dive. Standing there with an empty tank is another story of course but I'm probably not going to have to ask about that one so there won't be an opportunity to lie.

I've lied.

I was on a boat in Turkey once and they announced that if anyone came back on the boat with less than 50 bar that they'd have to sit out the following dive. All week long when checking out at the end of the dive the DM asked me what I had left and every time I answered 80 bar.....
