Hello. I just bought a new suit (5/4/3mm) to replace my 3/2mm suit. Was always chilled, even with a vest and hood over my suit. I was using 10 lbs with the 3/2mm suit (plus vest) What do you think I should start with for weight, with the new 5/4/3mm suit?

Thanks.
Pam

Pam if you are not wearing the vest with your new suit, probably 10 or 12 lb. will be where you end up. I would start with 12.

yeah, 2 - 4 should be enough. I dive an old 3/2 fullsuit & a 5mm hyperstretch & there's not a huge difference in wt required. I don't take a real hit until I jump into my 7mm, taht takes a few more lbs.

When I switch from my 3 to my 5, I add 4#, but I don't know how buoyant your vest is? I'm sure my suits are bigger than your, too - 2# might be enough?
