another problem would be the pressure. Unless you 'dropped it off' to get sent out and filled, the best you could probably get thru tank to tank transfill without a "bank" would be around 2200 psi + or -.
I just fill mine myself off my welding cylinder. I have a BIG 280 cuft cyl on my TIG welder and when the need arises to refill my 13 cu ft argon cylinder I just put the transfill reg on and do a direct tank to tank fill. I get whatever is in the BIG tank at the time but it always pretty high. If I run a little low on argon I just top the small bottle off with air from my compressor but you're just using it for the dry suit anyway.

Will an argon filling center fill a scuba tank with yoke valve with argon?
If not can I put the correct filling tank valve on a scuba tank and get it filled?
Basically what im trying to do it get my old al80 filled with argon and then just use an equalizer to fill my argon pony for my drysuit..
I don't understand why you would want to do that. You loose pressure each time you fill from one cylinder to another. Why not just get a fill whip and get argon your gas supplier in a standard storage cylinder.

Arent the argon tanks from a supplier pretty expensive?
I dont have a dry suit or dive with argon but I am a welder and I am pretty close with my local welding supply. Here (in northing MN) I can rent large argon cylinders for 10 years (they do it in 10 year cycles) at the cost of $240 (or so) and than its somewhere in the neighborhood or $60 to get them filled. You would have to have a fill wip made to change from the standard compression fittings to your yoke and every fill would be a tad less than the previous. I would go that route and top off the 13 cuft with air as suggested to make life easier.
unless you are doing dives in cold water for extended periods I dont think its totally necessary to use argon every time anyway.
With that said you wont find a gas supplier that can fill your yoke valved tanks unless you bring them a whip. Most places that sell argon are not able to fill tanks anyway, they tend to send them out for fill. I dont know about bigger cities though.
If your diving alot its probably easier to get a whip made and rent tanks.

Just wanna make sure I understand you correctly.. Your saying it costs $240 to rent the tank for 10 years?? As in $24 a year..
