    the "p" debate

So , I tried to respond to another thread on this topic, but couldn’t ?!??!
My question is “is this possible??!?”
My buddy and I went diving last weekend in Monterey CA.
Our first dive was about 50min (50F @ stillwater), we then drove (in wet wetsuits) to a second site (about 30min)where we did another 50 min (50F @ lovers) dive, we then changed, went to lunch (about 1hr), then left for home. We stopped and got gas after about 20min of driving.
Now, during this time I went to the bathroom at least 4 times. (3 times in the water, and once between dives, not in the car!) Then, I went again at the gas stop.
Also , you have to take into account the time spent changing, and donning /doffing gear.
So here’s the kicker- my buddy claims (with all seriousness) that he NEVER WENT in all that time!
Now, I know he drank coffee in the morning, and water before and between dives.
Is this even possible (not to me).
Have any of you done (been able to hold it) for that long while diving and sitting in a wet wetsuit?!? The drive in the wetsuit almost KILLED me!
What do you think? Am I being whamboozled?

He is dehydrated and/or much warmer in his suit and/or lying about what happened in the water and/or on the verge of kidney failure.

Did he happen to have an intensely salty breakfast? That can help retain water. He may also have a bodacious bladder.
My ever growing collection of assorted ramblings on scuba topics can be read here.

No sequence of classes will make a good diver out of you, if you aren't actively diving and practicing in the meantime.

    I'm a Fish!
Well I've never gone an entire dive day without several head calls. But, being the obstanant truck driver that I am I did make it from Phoenix AZ. to Ontario CA. one night. I needed to go when I left Phoenix. It wasn't my best judgement call, and I certainly don't suggest it. But yes, it's possible.

Think this falls in the category of "pp" - personal preference.

Check his car seat if he did it would STINK! Neoprene is like a sponge I don't care how early in the dive you go the suits gonna stink afterward, and I am sure it would have transfered to the seat, but you must be pretty obssed with this to smell car seats... even once....

I bet he peed in his suit. I work in Ems and have 12 hours without peeing.
