I don't think it is the matter of your age, but your health condition.

There are many old pals who are still diving actively.

You know exactly your limit more than anyone else.. Don't ignore your internal voice.

Based on my observation, many hard core divers are following the route below:

Just swimming --->One tank single diving --> Double tank diving ---> RB (only few) ---> Single tank again --> Swimming (actually walking in the water or Aquatic aerobic).

And, this is my 5K posts... COB....
    Safe dive!

No age limit,,,you just have to use common sense and stay in good physical condition.

Stan Waterman, the shark man, is in his 80's and still dives on his liveaboard expeditions. He doesn't do that many dives, but he is still in the water! If it makes you happy, then go for it!

    Happy Diving!

That's what dive buddies and/or guides are for If that was the only thing I couldn't do, I wouldn't stop diving.

Age is only one factor. Conditioning, smoking, weight, surgeries, etc. (things that affect circulation) all enter into the equation. The farther a category strays from the "perfect", what ever that is, the more conservative a profile you should dive.

I'm 68 and diving regularly (6 ocean dives monthly plus finning around in a pool a couple times a week). I have an OP who tells me that if some day I can't handle the weight of tanks and gear that he'll pick me up and throw me in the water and jump in and take it all off for me so I can keep on diving. Health and strength are the determining factors.
