I was wondering if anyone has ever dove using the Oceanic Vortex V-16 Split Fins and if so what are your thoughts, good or bad?

Thanks,
Michael

Hi Michael,
I have never used that particular model. I have a set of Sherwood splits they have use, No current, clam water sight seeing tours.

I used for the first time in the Galapagos in September.

I brought paddle fins as a back-up in case the V-16s could not handle the current. My old paddle fins ended up being luggage ballast.

I cannot say enough about these fins. The performed well in heavy currents and surge. I had no problems pivoting, frog-kicking or sculling backwards. I have no complaints. Best of all, no more popping and clicking in my shredded knees.

The owner of the dive shop brought a pair to try out, and he also raved about them.
