Anybody hear about, or have a link to, information about a diver death in the Pacific North West Friday?

I live and dive in the Pacific Northwest. I haven't heard of any scuba accidents recently. I'm in our local dive shop 3-4 times a week and haven't heard any talk. If you can provide more information I'll check into it and get back to you.

For those of you who knew him, I have the unpleasant chore of putting
the word out that Far (wont post his last name, those who knew him
know who he is) died in the water last Friday, the 18th of January.

As usual, lots of bullsxxx, conjecture and outright lies surround the
incident.

*NO FACTS* are yet available, except that he was a great man, good
diver and instructor, and he will be sorely missed by many. Far
brought a lot of people into diving in the Pacific Northwest, and he
did it in a fun way.

The SCUBA world is down 1 good man.

This incident actually occured in Ginnie Springs last week, but few details are available. Far taught in the PNW for many years.
