What are your favorite movies, documentaries, or TV shows that contain diving?

I recently picked up "Into the Blue" with Jessica Alba and Paul Walker. Not a great movie, but entertaining, lots of diving, and Jessica Alba. I remember "The Deep" from years ago. Might have to pick up a copy since it has been released on DVD.

What's in your diving library that you enjoy watching?

I have a huge Scuba Library!

IMAX Coral Reef Adventure (diving GBR, Fiji, Tahiti with Howard Hall - doesn't get any better than this one)
IMAX The Living Sea (diving Palau with Howard Hall)
IMAX Dolphins (dolphins, duh)
IMAX Island of the Sharks (diving Cocos Islands with Howard Hall)
IMAX Deep Sea (mostly Hawaii and Calif underwater)
IMAX Into the Deep (California diving at its best)
IMAX Ocean Oasis (diving the Sea of Cortez)
California Marine Life ID by Hammerhead Press
ScubaCore Issue 1 - BVI, Solmar V, Yap, Tobago
ScubaCore Issue 2 - Truk, Bonaire, Nekton Rorqual Bahamas, Wakatobi
ScubaCore Issue 3 - Bali, Kona Aggressor, Costa Ricas, Turks & Caicos Explorer
Dive Portal DVD magazine - Volumes 1 & 2
The Blue Realm (2 DVD set, sharks, venom, tentacles, mantas)
Mysteries of the Deep (5 DVD set of the tv series, diving all over the world)

:D

Great list robint!!!!! Time to grab my credit card and go shopping!

IMAX Coral Reef Adventure, unbelievable images with soundtrack by Crosby, Stills, and Nash.

I never get tired of watching it!

The commentator on the Andrea Doria video (great video, BTW) mentions a film version of "The Silent World". Does anyone know if that film has been archived and reproduced for sale?

Hands down my 2 top favorites are Deep Blue and Atlantis (by Luc Besson). They are both visually stunning and absolutely worth watching repeatedly.

Others at the top of my list are The Blue Planet Series (particularly the Coral Seas & Seasonal Seas). Shallow Seas and Deep Seas from the Planet Earth Series is equally as good if not better. And finally the PBS Jean-Michel Cousteau Ocean Adventures Series. There are a total of 3 of these so far.

Check them out - you won't be disappointed!

Imax Deep Sea 3D stands out as one of my favorites

I rented this because it has Danny Elfman music and I always thought his music would sound great underwater. I was very disappointed in it though. It was WAY too short.
