Apparently the Wasp Injection folks have come out with an upgraded version of their injection knife. Seems like a good idea but something I doubt I would ever need. Fun for discussion though .

This has been discussed over on TDS. It seems that everybody thinks that it would make a great addition to spear fishing. Shoot, inflate. Fish float to the surface where the chase boat retrieves it. Less mess when it comes time to gut them as well. Others think that there needs to be a manifold for redundancy. Or some how to hook up your spare air to it. ( gotta be a good use for the stupid can) Someone said that it was a design off of the shark dart. It was designed to inflate a shark so it would float to the surface out of your way. Well that it did, along with blowing the guts out of its mouth. Damn it Boyle!!

Shark swoops in, diver sticks out arm, shark removes arm along with highly expensive special air injection knife.
