Chuuk (or Truk) Lagoon is also towards the top of my list.
I love the kelp forests off the California coast. I've only been able to dive them twice so far. Looking forward to eventually getting many more dives out there.
The Dunderburg in Lake Huron is high on my list right now as are many other Great Lakes wrecks in the 110-150 ffw range.
As far as tropic/pretty fish dives, Indonesia (Komodo, Raja Ampat, Sulawesi) would be at the top of my list.
The views expressed above are simply my opinion and do not necessarily bare any resemblance to the truth. As a matter of fact, they are typically a load of bunk and should be summarily disregarded.
Truk Lagoon sits in my mind, but I'd really like to go dive the USS-Tide off of Normandy. That was the ship that my father was on when it got blown up by a mine the day after D-Day.
Galapagos Islands! We are going next April. After that I have PNG, but have been reading some negatives about that location here on scubaboard. I've been to Chuuk, excellent, excellent, excellent!!!!
Truk lagoon is on top, next the great barriar reef. I've done the Galapagos, fantastic, the Cayman's, Pt. Hardy, Bahamas, and in three weeks, THE RED SEA. Yep, I'm excited.
Also, please excuse the bragging. I'm working on getting all those little red pins on the map.
