What I'm wondering (and what doesn't really seem to belong to any of the other threads) is...

Has anyone taken the Solo class, but does not dive solo. Just took it for the extra pointers, for the self-rescue attributes, etc., whatever.

No, but it would be interesting. I do dive solo and I am confident with my ability to asses risk. I would like to see what they put in the class.
