Well ... yeah. There are some parallels. McDonalds is #111 on the fortune 500 right now but I'm pretty sure they've *never* cooked a hamburger that would get them anywhere near the 2nd round of an amateur cooking competition.
Success isn't necessarily (or maybe seldom is) a reflection of quality. We all know that. The question in this case is "could we have gotten where we are without it?"
