Yup, not teaching today so went for a pleasure dive with a former student. Off to my favorite dive site, surface swim along the top of the reef and drop down over the edge.
We follow the reef to the North(ish) direction, fish, fish and more fish.
Sea snakes, nice and fat.
Angel fish and Nemos abound....
And then, the coupe de grace!

Yeah, I love diving.

What a beautiful animal! I love the place where he stops and turns . . . it would be so much fun, I think, just to ripple your edges and be able to do that!

WOW, it must be exhausting how do you do it day in and day out:rofl3: B.

Reminds me of some of my La Jolla Cove dives. Sometimes it's nice to just float in the shallows for an hour or two like you're one of the fish.

Great video Robert.. Have you ever seen a giant jellyfish in japan??

It's like my dives today in Bedford Basin (Halifax Harbour).

Car battery, nice and encrusted.
Tiny fish and lot's of golf balls.
Then the coupe de grace: plastic plates abound.

I thought I was back in New Yawk. But this is the city here--our other sites are more pristine than you could want.

No giant Jellfish, but I have seen a few box jellys...scary enough as it is.
