Those who say that there are two things to manipulate aren't being quite straight. The second (suit) is only "manipulated" on decent, and only when the squeeze gets uncomfortable. A quick shot of gas is it.
On ASCENT, the suit dumps itself (you dive with the dump wide open); there is nothing to attend to on the way up other than the BC as usual.
If you're too cold, put on another layer of underwear.
