What material is a scuba mask skirt made of?

Hello,

I'm looking to find out the exact names of the materials used to create the skirt around a scuba mask.
I have a project that will use it and I have to clearly state the material name. I know there are silicone and plastic, but I need the official names.

Silicone - silicone rubber, you could call it crosslinked polysiloxane if you want to sound fancier. Plastic could be polycarbonate or acrylic, but that's really just a guess. It would be worth calling a couple manufacturers and seeing what they tell you.
