I just don't log dives
Was watching GoPro's final video in their "Life in 4K" series, about an orca specialist in New Zealand who rescues the animals, and in one segment she talks about a common dream she has of diving with orcas through kelp, and talking to them in their own language. She remarks that if there is rebirth she'd want to of course come back as an orca.

Made me think. If you could be reborn as any animal you've seen on a dive, which would it be? (Yep, has to be an animal you've actually seen through your diving, and tell us about any particularly memorable dive with that animal)

I'm going with octopus. They're sleek, smart, have X-Men like ink superpowers, and the whole chilling underneath a rock for hours fits my hibernate-in-bed personality. I could spend the entire dive just watching them change color and never get bored.

I'd go for lemmon shark. I could cruise the reef forever.

I think a seahorse...sometimes I like to be damn hard to find :D

I'm thinking a lion fish. First off they are beautiful and nothing seems to want to eat it except us.

I'm going for something high on the food chain and with high intelligence so orca sounds good to me. Although I haven't seen them underwater, I have seen them from a dive boat so hopefully that counts. If not, I'll go with dolphins since I have seen them underwater, they are intelligent and they have sex for fun.
