Fin marking question

Good moring ScubaBoard. My wife and I are going to Cozumel in April and would like to mark our fins with reflective material. I see lots of divers putting different patterns on the bottoms of their fins and was wondering what other divers use to do that and how do you keep the material from falling off when getting wet?

I used 2" 3M retro reflective tape that I bought off of Amazon. I put a big "A" on the bottom of each fin since my name's AAron. The tape does NOT like to stick to rubber, so I was a little worried, since my fins are a mix of rubber and plastic. There's enough plastic that the tape has held just fine. I haven't had to do anything to keep it on. The adhesive has done well enough on its own.

My buddies tell me it was very effective while diving Bonne Terre mine. I've seen the video they shot, and the tape really stood out.

I paint palm trees on the bottom of my fins using a white paint marker like this: Brite Mark Permanent Underwater Marking Pen at LeisurePro

I usually touch it up prior to each dive vacation (part of the ritual), but it's surprisingly resilient.

I have some solas reflective tape on the bottom of my fins. It sticks to the rubber and is marine grade.

I just use a paint marker to write my name on my gear. I've thought about getting SOLAS tape but haven't.

Uses an Ideal Marker, neon craft paint, and reflective tape, so the fins look like a disco nightmare.

Paint pen or nail polish - underneath close to the foot bed where it won't get worn off.

Thats funny, I have the same fins. Only thing is those aren't the fins I want to mark. I also have a pair of blue and black AquaLung fins that I am going to use in Cozumel. Those are the fins I want to mark so that if I get ahead of my wife or other dive partner down there they can find me easily.
