Can anyone please tell me what type of brand of diving gear they prefer? I just recieved my certification and want to buy gear ASAP.... PLEASE HELP ME OUT!

Oh my, what a can of worms you have set before yourself. Here's my 2 psi, go to your local dive shop and rent your gear untill you have some dives in. Then decide what you want to buy.

Where did you get certified? Did they talk about gear at all? A great many dive shops actually offer gear for sale. I suggest you walk into one and talk to them. Though you might try to avoid expressing your exuberance quite so vocally.
