    Question What is this?

Hi, I was wondering if anyone out there might know what this is. It's made of stainless steel, rather heavy, and was found about 6 ft. away from a ice-making machine (might be part of that?) However, lots of other junk in the area. It was in 30 ft. of water right off a commercial dock. Thanks!

It could be the blade(s) that knocks off the tops of the frozen tubes of ice, if it was one of those types of ice makers.

I'll second that. Notice that it's not rusted from being underwater, which means it's probably made of stainless steel, like kitchen utensils.

OOPS. I just noticed you stated that in your original post. Sorry!

Yeah, I think you two are correct, it does have semi-sharp edges on its "blades" and would be perfect for shaving ice. Thanks for your guesses, I guess it's margarita time, eh?
