Has anyone stayed at Isla Marisol Resort in Belize?
We are planning a trip in August and are trying to find the perfect spot.
We do have a couple of people that tend to get sea-sick if the water if rough for diving. So we would like to keep that in mind. I heard if you stay in Ambergris Caye you have to go through rough water and you can get tossed around on the dive line for your safety stops.
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
I stayed on the next island over from the Isla Marisol Resort so can't speak about the resort itself, but Glover's Atoll is AMAZING. We had a very choppy ride out (it's about 40 miles each way) - memorably so, but there are incredible dive sites all over the place - many really close, so you could (probably) request shorter dive trips and still be into awesome diving. Please tell us all about it when you get back, wherever you decide to stay.
